Application of sound absorbing foam material to the internal channels of the A, B & C pillars minimises wind noise and improves interior quietness by preventing the ingress of external noise and minimising noise resonance. A damping sheet is applied to the underfloor to reduce road and interior noise while sound absorbing material is applied to the roof panel to mitigate the noise from wind and rain.
